Happy Birthday To Me!

I am 35 today and decided to quick life update in the form of a favourites of 2022 list. I remember years ago when monthly favourites were popular blog posts and YouTube videos, I guess that ship has sailed but I thought would be a nifty way to celebrate my blogging again and make a special birthday post.

My Favourites of 2022 (So Far)

Notebook

Page from the Q and A 5 Year Journal on 16 October
An old favourite returned in 2022

I haven’t been journalling or doing morning pages since late 2019 but in January 2022 and decided that I must complete my Q And A Five-Year Journal that I started in 2018. And I am happy to report that I have been adding entries into this notebook every day.

App

My favourite app is the Calm app. I meditate every morning after I wake up, it is the first thing I do in the mornings. Presently I am on a 529 day streak which means I have meditated every day since 4 May 2021 (I am writing this post on Friday 14 October 2022).

Book

I told you about my first five-star read of the year in last week’s post so check out my mini review of The Secret Lives Of Church Ladies by Deesha Philyaw.

TV Show

I have watched so much TV since the pandemic but my favourites would be Bridgerton season two on Netflix and The Flash from the CW.

Book Series

Two books The Windows of Malabar Hill and My Sister The Serial Killer
Perveen Mistry is a favourite

The Perveen Mistry books by Sujata Massey are my new obsession and I now reading book three, The Bombay Prince and I am loving it.

Snack

This is not healthy and it the brand isn’t local but I have been loving the Charles Chocolate Mocha chocolate bar that is supposed to be with roasted Jamaican Blue Mountains coffee. I buy a bar every time I head to the supermarket.
