What I Read In September: Reading Wrap-Up

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Hello and welcome to My Jamaican Vignettes blog. Today we’re discussing books! It’s time for my September reading wrap-up.

I had an ambitious reading list for September. I wanted to read 10 books. Instead I ended up reading three books. Let’s discuss.

September 2026 Reading Wrap-Up

I read two mysteries and a romance book.

The first book I finished was Murder at Clover Farm (a Violet Brewster Mystery) by Jane Bettany. These are cosy mysteries set in small towns on the English countryside and I love them. This was entertaining.

Then I read Murder in St James’s Park by Vanessa Riley. This is book four in the Lady Worthing series and this is my fav historical mystery series currently. I love the characters and I enjoy the depth of the historical events that are featured.

Then for romance. I read Score by Kennedy Ryan.

Score was a heavier one because of the mental health representation (bipolar disorder) and I took my time to avoid being triggered.

That’s it. My September 2026 reading wrap-up.

What book did you love in September?
