It’s Holiday Season (Yep) Plan Your Christmas Menu

Reading Time: < 1 minute

It’s the most wonderful time of the year (almost). It’s two months until Christmas and I think you should plan your Christmas holiday menu today.

Grab your notebook or note app and consider what you want to spend, the availability or possible availability of fresh fruits and vegetables and see what’s possible for you and your family.

This isn’t a recipe recommendations post. We done that in previous years and I’ll link those at the end. But today I want you to consider your budget, who you are accommodating or hosting and what your dietary needs are for you and your family.

Christmas Holiday Menu: Budgeting

Are you hosting family and friends this year? Make a realistic plan of the cost to feed each person? Will your visitors be with you for dinner only or do you need to factor in meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and dessert.

So think about how many persons you need to feed and how many meals?

Christmas Holiday Menu: Dietary Needs

Next please consider the dietary needs. Are any oy your guests or family members diabetic? Is anyone a vegan? On a gluten free meal plan.

Ask if you aren’t sure and do your best to accommodate them.

Also ask about food allergies.

Now here are some articles from previous years that may help you plan your Christmas holiday menu:

Happy planning.

Have fun. Be realistic with your budget, space and bandwidth. And remember it’s a season of love and joy.
