Poison in the Water: Lies, Deceit, and a Love Story that Must be Told. Yes that is the full title of Marissa De Luna’s romance/mystery thriller.

This is the story of fashion designer Celeste Broady. The novel begins with Broady on vacation backpacking in Asia. At the airport in Celeste meets Alex Renshaw. Their romance is intense and passionate. Soon they return to London and their respective careers and families. And here is where the twists and turns take place, is Celeste really married to the man of her dreams, can she manage to maintain her independence and grow in her career when she must also take on the new responsibilities of being a Renshaw.

What De Luna does very well is show the intensity of toxic relationships, not just lovers but friendships as well  and how persons can be blinded by love.

Poison in the Water is one of the newest books by So Vain Publishers. Thanks to So Vain Books for sharing this book with me.

Poison in the Water will be released tomorrow, May 26, 2016.
