Green background with the mantra I can and I will

Start Before You Are Ready

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Should I start calling my Monday morning posts Monday Morning Musings again? It seems appropriate for what I want to chat about today and in line with other recent posts which I will share again at the end of this quick Monday morning ramble.

But this week I want you to start before you are ready.

Start Before You Are Ready

I wouldn’t call this a life hack but more of a recommendation. Now I don’t know who most of my readers are now because I deleted my bot and spam filled mailing list so you and I may not know each other personally but hear this: you have what it takes to begin your journey of whatever your most ardent wish or dream is today.

This is my message for the week and not just to you but me as well. I have been hinting at a passion project for months now but if I am being honest I haven’t actually done any of the real work (yet). I have concepts and ideas and notes but beginning to execute those, well I haven’t started. I feel unsure and a little bit behind even though I haven’t started which makes little to no sense but that is how I feel.

So together, it is Monday 23 March 2026 let’s start the thing we’ve been dreaming of before we are ready. Let’s start scared and nervous and unsure. Let’s start messy. Start with what you have be that resources, support or money. Because once that thing exists then it can grow. We can get feedback and we can see and touch and experience the thing that was once and idea and test if it is really what makes us happy and fulfilled.
