Reggae Month – all month long

February is Reggae Month in Jamaica and there will be monthlong activities to celebrate reggae music in Kingston. This year’s theme is ‘Rhythms or Resistance’. Featured annual activities include:

February 1: Dennis Brown’s Birthday-
February 6: Bob Marley’s Birthday and Tribute Concert

February 28: Reggae Gold Awards Ceremony

Hard Wine Soca Party – 7 February 2026

Annual soca party held at Mas Camp tickets are on Eventbrite.

Lost In Time Music Festival – 28 February – 1 March 2026

Biannual music festival will be held in Kingston Jamaica. The venue and line-up hasn’t been announced (yet). Visit the official festival website for details and ticket information.

IOJ’s Last Sundeh

The Institute of Jamaica (IOJ) hosts monthly last Sunday activities. In February that would be on Sunday 22 February. Expect free entry to free admission to its downtown Kingston museums (National Gallery, National Museum Jamaica, Natural History Museum, Jamaica Music Museum, Simón Bolívar Cultural Centre) with special activities, tours, and workshops, encouraging cultural exploration for families and individuals, so check their official website and social media pages.
